CCA's flagship Seeds to Roots Youth Action Center in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood is a community-building space for young people engaged in CCA programming. The Center features a full schedule of paid training opportunities, restorative justice programming, arts and literacy, education access and community organizing activities.
CCA's Seeds to Roots Youth Action Center deepens connections between young people and their communities and provides long-term support to youth, including those affected by the criminal legal system.
CCA's Seeds to Roots Youth Action Center is the focal point for a number of strategies that have proven effective in addressing the root causes of violence, including providing job programs for young people, offering services in localized spaces and engaging young people via credible messengers.
CCA serves over 300 youth annually via the The Seeds to Roots Youth Action Center and supports an additional 500 Brownsville community members through regular workshops, activities, outreach, and community events.
