The Justice Roadmap, a coalition of over 220 organizations, coordinates and champions transformative legislation to combat these oppressive systems. Together, we advance new methods of advocacy and policy change, challenge unjust laws, and build a future where all New Yorkers can live with dignity and without fear of state violence. By shining a light on the interconnected ways these systems separate, isolate, expel, and cage people, the Roadmap serves as a guide for New York’s elected officials to confront these injustices and protect the rights and freedoms of all.
Since 2018, the Justice Roadmap has had tremendous impact.

The Justice Roadmap lights the pathway to a just and equitable New York.
The Justice Roadmap is a blueprint for how New York’s elected officials can address some of the worst harms caused by the criminal and immigration legal systems. Since 2018, Justice Roadmap partners have secured historic victories, including driver’s licenses for all New Yorkers, keeping ICE out of our courts, winning bail reform, and expanding protections for survivors of domestic violence.

As long as these systems persist in oppressing and criminalizing our communities, the Justice Roadmap will remain at the forefront, pushing for bold legislative change. Together, we are building a New York where justice, dignity, and freedom are the rights of all, not the privilege of a few.
