Mr. Tabak has chaired the Committee on Civil Rights of the New York City Bar Association and co-chaired the New York State Bar Special Committee on Re-Entry, and is chair of the Death Penalty Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice.
