Tonza Cunningham

Tonza Cunningham serves as the Director of Human Resources for CCA. She previously served as the Manager of Human Resources for the New York City office. Prior to joining CCA, Ms. Cunningham worked in several mission driven organizations. She has over 20 years of human resources experience including overseeing and supporting Human Resource-related duties. Her current duties include directing Human Resource practices and processes, recruiting high-quality staff, updating employee records, advising on employee issues, benefits management, and timekeeping, managing CCA’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and ensuring compliance with employment law.

Ms. Cunningham holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and Marketing from Long Island University and has achieved her designation of Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Human Resources Professional Association of Nonprofit Organizations (HRPANO).

Ms. Cunningham is passionate about CCA’s mission which she embodies by continuously practicing at the highest level of integrity and service to others.
